How To Join

We are a small but growing archery club. We currently practice at
Ducktown park in Forsyth County, most Saturdays. You can get hours and directions from our web site by
clicking on this link.

We are primarily a youth oriented organization but we allow for adult members as well. Check information below for the rules for adult membership.

Youth Membership Information


  1. Our coaches provide archery instruction by an all volunteer staff of trained coaches and parents, from the absolute beginning beginner level, through advanced archery. Your child will shoot their first arrow within minutes of stepping to the line.
  2. We have children starting at 8 years old, and on up through 18 years of age.
  3. We have high standards of behavior. Be prepared to sign a Code of Conduct agreement.
  4. We require the parents and guardians to stay during the entire practice. We don’t allow for “drop offs”.
  5. Our membership fees are $40 per child per year.
  6. Our year begins August 1st and ends July 31st.
  7. Included in the $40 registration fee is a monogrammed club shirt that we ask each archer wear to practice
  8. We require club shirts to be worn by the archers attending tournaments.
  9. We allow for kids to try out our club twice before requiring
    them to pay to join. We hope that this allows families to see if the
    club is a good fit for the child before making a commitment.
  10. We provide a limited number of “learner recurve” and “learner compound” bows and arrows available for the kids to try out. There is no fee required to use the club equipment.
  11. As your child moves up through the club ranks, we expect that you will purchase a bow, arrows and other related equipment for your child. We are happy to help you with advice (and club member discounts) for your purchases.

Adult Membership Information


  1. We love to have adults shoot as well, however kids are our first priority.
  2. Olympic, traditional, and compound bows are welcome!
  3. The club has some bows and some arrows. Youth archery needs come first however. We have greater expectations that adults will have their own equipment.
  4. We are a target archery club. Target points are required. No broadheads.
  5. We have high behavior expectations for our club. We have a Code of Conduct agreement that covers language, behavioral, dress, other areas. This club must remain open and friendly to families and youth.
  6. We require *ALL* adults in the archery field to undergo a background check before participation is allowed.
  7. Our membership fees are $40 per adult per year.
