Archive for the 'Photos' CategoryThis past weekend, we held one of our JOAD Pin Shoots. It’s a fun, mini tournament where the kids are allowed to shoot for a score to earn them pins. It’s very motivating for the kids and they have a lot of fun. We had our most successful pin shoot ever. Take a look. [ Back to top ] We wanted to do something special this year to celebrate another great archery year. Some of our parents were nice enough to organize an outing to the Wahsega 4-H Camp where we organized a fun tournament and JOAD pin shoot. A great time was had by all! We’ll be back next year! [ Back to top ] We had a great time with some great turnout by our club at the Gainesville 900 Target tournament. Thank you to all of the organizers of the tournament! [ Back to top ] I’d like to thank Lori Kekel for taking the photos of the tournament. As you can see, the sky opened up on us several times. Eventually, the tournament had to be cancelled to due lightning and heavy rains. The Cloverleaf (youngest group) of archers pretty much finished their portion of the tournament. The senior recurve archers got through their FITA (target) tournament. The senior compound archers got part way through their FITA and part way through the 3D targets. The juniors, unfortunately didn’t really get to shoot because the rain came in the afternoon and was a wash out. My thanks goes out to all of our parents for helping make this as good as it could be of a bad situation. Thank you to all of the 4-H staff and volunteers.
