About Our Club

The Forsyth County Archery Club was founded in 2005, built upon the S.A.F.E. program. We aim to bring the joy of the sport of archery to children from the ages of 8 through the high school years. Of course, archery isn’t just for kids, it’s for kids of all ages. We encourage parents to not only be involved with their children, but to also participate in the sport.

We are a small but growing archery club. We currently practice in Forsyth County on Saturday afternoons during the winter. You can get directions from our web site by clicking on the “Directions” link on the menu on the right.

Our membership fees are $40 per child and are good through the end of July. We require members participating in tournaments with the club to wear one of our attractive team shirts.

You can come out and practice with us before joining however. We do have a limited number of “learner recurve” bows available for the kids to try out. We love to have adults shoot as well, however kids are our first priority. As kids progress from the beginner levels we expect that they will purchase their own bows, arrows, and equipment. Olympic, traditional, and compound bows are welcome!

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We have great things planned for the club and we’d love to have you and your family join us!
