Archive for May, 2010We had a great time with some great turnout by our club at the Gainesville 900 Target tournament. Thank you to all of the organizers of the tournament! [ Back to top ] Hello Archers! We are very excited about the archery tournament tomorrow. As I was saying at the practice, this tournament is a great tournament to get started with. Low pressure, coaches can coach and help the beginners, low cost, and as close of a tournament as we’re going to get! Plus, the people at the Gainesville Archery Club are really, really nice and good friends of our club. I have contacted the Gainesville Archery Club, and they have agreed to set up a “Beginner” class for some of our new archers. What that means is if you are a beginner and would normally be shooting 50,40, and 30 meters, you will be able to shoot at 30,20, and 10 meters! I hope that this will help make a tournament more “approachable” for those archers on the fence on whether to come to the tournament or not. Please come! A picture is worth a thousand words and photos are worth more than that! It’s nice to have sites available that document tournaments. Buy a picture while you’re there.
