We got rained out yesterday so we’re planning on having archery practice today! We’re open for both Team and Club members starting at 3pm and we’ll be finishing up at 5pm.

If you have a boy or a girl that is between the ages of 8 and 18, and they have a desire to learn archery, bring them on out! Hope to see you there!

2009 Youth World Championships in Ogden, Utah, USA. Recurve Cadet Men Team Gold Medal match brings Korea vs. the Ukraine. Great solid shooting from these young archers.

2009 Outdoor World Cup from Santo Domingo where Hernandez from Spain competes against Elzinga from the Netherlands. Great conditions for this tournament and the arrows were flying well.

Very windy conditions from Antalya, Turkey where Korea was competing against China in this 3rd Stage match of the 2009 Archery World Cup. I can’t believe how well they were shooting under these very windy conditions. You can see their shirts blowing around and some of the advertising inflatables struggling against their restraints. Take a look!

I couldn’t embed the video here but check out this 40 minute high quality video. It shows video showing many different countries competing in recurve as well as compound archery competition. It looks like a great venue with high quality archery going on.

Hello Archers!

Mother Nature has been giving us some great rain lately. Unfortunately, it’s not great for archery. Coach Mike checked out the field and it’s pretty soupy down there, the grass hasn’t been mowed, and in checking the radar it looks like the rain is not going to let up.

Based on all of those factors, we’re canceling archery practice for today. We’ll be back next Saturday to try again.

Thank you,
- Coach Kevin
