Ann’s life passion was archery and she believed in learning how to shoot archery the correct way. The basic fundamentals and drive to win were important to Ann. She believed the USAA’s JOAD program provided a perfect environment for young archers to develop their skills and perfect them so that one day they could be champions.

Ann Weber Hoyt passed away in 2008. To continue her work she left $500,000 to be used for the further development of USAA’s JOAD program. In appreciation and recognition, USA Archery has created the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund to thank Ann for all she has done for the sport and to encourage others to support the cause for which Ann had so much passion.

Thank you so much Ann Hoyt from JOAD Coaches across the USA. We’ll do our best to do you proud, and to help spread the word on what a character building sport that archery is.
