Very cool. First the $4M facility being built in Florida, and now WKU is trying to build a huge shooting facility that will include an archery range.

Western Kentucky University: In the conceptual phase are plans for a possible $55 million shooting range that could be used for the 2016 Olympic Games. The range is being designed for archery, riflery, pistol shooting and skeet. If Chicago lands the bid for the 2016 Olympic Games, Western will bid to host those shooting events.

Wait, what?!? If Chicago wins the Olympics, do you think they’d let their shooting sports leave to Kentucky? Um, maybe they would. Naw. They wouldn’t want all of that money leaving their state. We’ll see … eventually.
