The Forsyth County Archery Club will be holding a Thanksgiving charity tournament November 22nd, 2008. Here are some of the details.

Date: November 22nd, 2008
Practice: 2:30-3:00pm
Tournament: 3:00pm-5:00pm
Charity: Concord Baptist church food pantry
Admission: minimum of 3 cans of food per archer or minimum of $5
Tournament: Targets at distances up to 30meters; 3D Turkey targets
Awards: Each tournament participant will receive a Hoyt baseball cap while supplies last!

We have a bin for you to deposit your donations into. This bin will be available this Saturday and on the day of the tournament. Please make sure that we check off your name on the roster to allow you entry into the
tournament when you make your donation.

The Concord Baptist Food Pantry is looking for the following donations:
– Canned meat items such as Vienna sausages, spam, and clams
– Canned fruit such as peaches, pears, etc.
– Spaghetti items such as Spaghettios, Ravioli, etc.
– The food pantry says that they have plenty of canned vegetables, but of course no donation will be turned away.

With your help we can help teach our young men and women what a joy it is to help those in our own community that need our help.
