Upcoming 4-H Tournament Has Surge of Interest
We believe in T.F.I. which is "total family involvement". Archery is a sport for the entire family to enjoy, from little brother, to big sister, mom too, and of course don't forget dad! Please, look around our site. We invite you to learn more about archery, and if you are in the Forsyth, Cherokee, Fulton county area of Georgia, stop by and fling some arrows!
It takes only a couple of minutes to learn how to shoot archery, but it takes a lifetime of practice to master it. Olympic quality archers practice for a minimum of an hour a day. Our club members fall somewhere in the total gambit between absolute beginner, to advanced archers. Come out and visit with us, watch for a bit. I'm guessing that after only a few minutes, you'll feel the desire to step up to the line and shoot your first arrow. We shoot all types of bows at our club too. Recurve, compound, traditional, longbow, and Olympic. We stress the joy of shooting a bow, all the time helping you achieve your full potential.
Archery's history started with the need to hunt and in the use of war. Today, archery is a sport of discipline that almost any member of the family can participate in. It is often said that any member of the family can participate in the sport of archery, whether you are the age of 8 through 108.
